Thinking about getting your first Brazilian wax? Maybe you're nervous, curious, or have no idea what to expect. Don’t worry—you’re not alone, and I’ve got you. Here’s everything you need to know before, during, and after your first Brazilian. Real talk, zero shame.

 Before Your Appointment

  • Let your hair grow—at least ¼ inch (grain-of-rice length), the longer the better your first time

  • Avoid exfoliating or using moisturizers the day of

  • Wear comfy, clean clothes—you’ll thank yourself later

What Happens During your first Brazilian wax?

  • You’ll be shown to a clean, private room

  • I’ll walk you through everything as we go—no surprises

  • Hard wax only (no strips!) = less pain, less irritation

  • Yes, I’ll remove hair from front to back, unless you request otherwise, such as a Bikini Full service

  • You can request or go without a landing strip—it’s totally up to you

Does It Hurt?

Honestly? A little to a lot depending on you and your pain levels—but it’s quick, and most clients say it’s way less scary than they thought! I work fast, check in constantly, and know how to make it as comfortable as possible. First-time nerves are totally normal—and I’ve seen everything, so you never have to feel awkward.

Aftercare Basics

  • Skip hot showers, standing water, saunas, sex, and workouts for 24-48 hours

  • Avoid tight clothing or anything that rubs

  • Exfoliate 1–3 times a week after the first 3-4 days

  • Ask me about adding a vajacial or aftercare products if you want to treat the skin even more

Final Thoughts

Brazilian waxing can be intimidating—but it doesn’t have to be. With the right waxer, it’s fast, comfortable, and actually kind of empowering. And once you try it? Most of my clients never go back to shaving!
